The Day It Rained Chocolate Pudding

Strange Rain/ THE DAY IT RAINED CHOCOLATE PUDDING

Pretend that you woke up this morning and heard rain outside, hitting your windows, pounding on the roof. It is still dark out, so it takes you a minute to notice that the "rain" coming down is a funny dark color. You can't tell what it is, so you quietly make your way to the outside door, open it and smell---chocolate! You step out the door and slowly put a hand into the stuff. It's chocolate! Chocolate pudding is raining out of the sky!

What will you do? Who will you tell? What will happen when you meet your friends? Make a list of all the possibilities you can think of, then choose your best ideas to write your story.

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching. End of level testing will be beginning soon. It is very important that all students get the best possible testing conditions. I have included a schedule of the days our class will be testing. All testing sessions will be in the morning of the listed days. This year all sections of the test will be administered online. Because the ability to make up these tests is very difficult please make sure your student is not absent on testing days. It is also important that they get a good sleep the night before, and a healthy breakfast. Please help us to ensure your student has every opportunity to do their very best.
