Persuasive Essay: In or Out
All 5th grade students in the state of Utah are required to take a writing test in February. The writing test will be the students’ response to a persuasive writing prompt. Students need to be able to develop their own opinions, and express their opinions in writing. It does need to be in 5 paragraph essay form. For the next few weeks students will be practicing responding to persuasive writing prompts for their Paragraph a Week. Remember 5 Paragraph Essays
You have been asked to plan a surprise party for a friend. The party can be either inside or out. Is an inside party or an outside party better? Write a response to persuade the reader your choice is better. Be sure to develop your response fully.
